Step 13 - Printer protocol

You may well be able to use the printer at this stage - if so you have finished this guide.
If at this stage you cannot use the printer you may have to change the protocol which the printer port uses.

Instructions:

Click on the Windows "Start" button, then choose "Settings" and click on "Printers and Faxes".
Right click on the printer you just added and select "Properties".
Click on the "Ports" tab of the window which appears and click the "Configure Port" button.


Select "Raw" as the protocol and click "OK".
Close the printer properties window and you have now finished!
