Printing directly to a shared network printer [From Windows XP]

Step 3 - Creating a printer port

As this printer is not in fact a physically "local" printer we now need to have this computer print to the printer through a TCP/IP port.

Instructions:

In the "Add Printer Wizard" "Select a Printer Port" window, select "Create a new port" and select "Standard TCP/IP Port" from the "Type of port" dropdown list. Click the "Next" button in the bottom right corner of the window.
