Printing directly to a shared network printer [From Windows XP]

Step 6 - Adding the printer again

Although we already used the "Add Printer" wizard, all we really did was create a new TCP/IP printer port through which we can print. We can now add the printer itself.

Instructions:

Click on the Windows "Start" button, then choose "Settings" and click on "Printers and Faxes".

In the "Printers and Faxes" window, double click "Add Printer".

The "Add Printer Wizard" will appear. Click the "Next" button in the bottom right corner of the window.
